Responsible Business Week
Sustainable, responsible business is top of everyone’s agenda. InterContinental Hotels & Resorts take this to the next level in their partnership with National Geographic’s Center for Sustainable Destinations.
Over 170 InterContinental Hotels & Resorts worldwide were invited to take part in Responsible Business Day in 2010 and Responsible Business Week in 2011 and 2012 to raise awareness of geotourism by organising initiatives either in the hotel, surrounding area or community. To help promote and support the hotels LAW Creative produced a General Manager Toolkit containing helpful information and tools to plan their event. The Toolkit was also supported by a microsite which enabled hotels to share ideas and upload stories, photographs and images of their event.
Pip, the Emperor Penguin was introduced as a mascot; he was received with great enthusiasm worldwide. He starred in the many photographs and videos of the geotourism initiatives carried out by hotels.
The result was amazing engagement within the hotels and for LAW Creative Winner of ‘Best Internal Communications; Award for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Responsible Business Day’

Kitchen Cookbook App
‘Taste Authentic Dishes From Around the World – In Your Own Home.’
We all wish we could be a little more adventurous in the kitchen. Well InterContinental Hotels & Resorts have produced an iPad App which shares recipes from their Executive Chefs around the world. These easy to follow, step by step recipes provide a real flavour of every destination and reflect the brand’s ‘In the Know’ positioning.
LAW Creative managed the project to ensure that the content reflects the global brand position. It involves liaison with international hotels, copywriting within specific word counts and upload to a backend system to update the App. The results are mouth-watering.
