Strategic planning

Strategic (the art or science of planning and conduct of a war). Planning (a detailed scheme. A method for attaining an objective).

Without a robust strategic plan there is no knowing exactly; where you are, where you want to go or how you are going to get there!

Strategic planning provides a process for defining strategy or direction. It allows decisions to be made so that a company or organisation can direct all if its resources, capital and personnel towards single or multiple goals.

Strategic planning provides a ‘road map’ that is fully supported by all company stakeholders. It provides a rallying flag and a commitment from all concerned.

Strategic planning is able to create stability and dispel some of the vagaries of an ever changing business environment.

Different planners have different planning methods and plans can be effective over one year, three years or even ten years. They can run from ten pages to a hundred. But one thing is certain. In 2009/10 there has never been greater need for companies to invest in some form of strategic planning.

At LAW Creative we have a set of skills. Methods and approaches fashioned by our values and aligned with the needs of our clients.

To meet the differing needs of our clients we have two prime planning processes.

Metroplan and Optimal Resource. Both are designed to deliver inspiring brand positioning strategy and integrated communications planning that activates positive consumer response.

In addition we have Baseplan; for those clients who are unable to devote budget or resource to planning on a grand scale but understand the value and wish to enter the process.
