Another day goes by, another big retail name goes down the tubes. The reasons given are many and varied: the value of the pound, Brexit, the internet, the lack of Russian visas, ‘we didn’t engage as well with our customers as perhaps we should have’… you name it, they’ll blame it.

As an avid fitness fanatic, spending most of my spare time in the gym, the fitness industry is something I find myself very close to. I’ve noticed that, in recent years, the fitness industry has made some serious gains, and the fitness subculture has grown fanatically.
As the world is gripped once again by football fever we’ve just launched a campaign in Mexico for BOGE that capitalises on the thrill of the game. But what really makes it a winner is that it also strengthens the brand’s reputation as a shock absorber manufacturer, which, like the world’s greatest players, can deliver perfect control.
Advertising Agencies – let’s call them that for now – come in a myriad of sizes and specialisms. And there seems to be an explosion of articles extolling the virtues of smaller shops.
Nine years after graduating, it was nice to be invited back to the University of Hertfordshire to see the School of Creative Arts Degree Show for 2018. As a previous graduate of the Graphic Design course, it was great to see how things have moved on and to meet the next generation of creative talent.
The power of the waves can open up our minds to a myriad of ideas.
