We all know how important exercise is to our physical and mental wellbeing. With the launch of Public Health England’s ‘Better Health’ campaign, encouraging us all to get fitter to fight COVID-19, it was crucial to get the nation’s gyms and fitness centres reopened.
Nuffield Health, the UK’s largest healthcare charity, was at the forefront of the campaign to do so. LAW Creative supported Nuffield Health as they looked to reopen their national network of 113 fitness and wellbeing centres by creating a film to convey their robust health and safety protocols messages and to encourage customers safely back.
The power of film showcased the advanced safety protocols implemented. We enlisted the help of a man who knows a great deal about overcoming hurdles. Colin Jackson, Legendary World, European and Commonwealth 110m hurdles champion. Colin’s incredible career as an athlete, combined with his reputation for sportsmanship and his stellar broadcasting career made him a natural fit for the project.
As a fully integrated agency LAW Creative was able to manage every aspect from pre-production, filming and post-production to ensure a smooth, seamless process. Shooting during a pandemic raises its own challenges, but by following government guidelines it’s still possible to safely deliver excellent storytelling and quality film.
Shooting took place at Nuffield Health’s stunning flagship City fitness and wellbeing centre, set on the banks of the River Thames. Naturally, the film crew adhered to C19 protocols during the filming.
On the day Colin’s professionalism and broadcasting experience shone through and he was able to effortlessly and naturally assist us with the making of our film.
A content strategy of organic and paid posts was employed across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube as well as LinkedIn to effectively reach Nuffield Health’s existing members, as well as potential customers and let them know the very good news that Nuffield Health gyms are open and safe.
