ESG LEAD A SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING CLOUD PLATFORM

THE CHALLENGE

Sustainability reporting seems simple: to benchmark the performance of an organisation, year-on-year, to assess progress towards environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals. Yet many organisations struggle to quantify their ESG and paint an integrated picture of ESG gains.

Most of the decisions made while building the original ESG Lead product were by engineers, which resulted in an early product that needed more uniformity in the interface. The product had  a mixture of styles, and some overly complicated solutions for the problems addressed. This resulted in a low conversion rate — No user-centric approach — Confusing website navigation — Lack of features required for successful ESG reporting — And poorly designed ESG targets.

THE SOLUTION: A SCALABLE PRODUCT ECOSYSTEM FOR SUPPLY CHAIN ENGAGEMENT

We created and built an ESG solution for the food industry, which has a huge impact on the planet, its people, and standards of governance. There is growing pressure for greater ESG performance, transparency, and new compliance and legislation regulations. Food industry organisations are currently behind the curve. This is due to siloed data, lack of automation and transparency in the supply chain.

Our goal was to bridge the current ESG gap by providing a tool that organisations can quickly and easily deploy to measure ESG impact across the entire supply chain.

A tool designed for quality assurance managers, compliance consultants, and their suppliers.

So, we redesigned and powered up ESG Lead, providing users with critical insight, enabling them to influence change and optimise their supply chains to mitigate their ESG impact.
